Philadelphia 76ers scoop Nets, claim forward Thomas Robinson

The Denver Nuggets waived forward Thomas Robinson a few days ago. Now, according to Yahoo Sports/FOX Sports 1 Insider Adrian Wojnarowski, it appears he's found a new home.
In Philadelphia.
But wait, you might be thinking, I thought Robinson was going to be on the Brooklyn Nets. What the heck just happened? Didn't I just read yesterday that he agreed to a 10-day contract with Brooklyn?
Yes, you did read that. We all did. And Robinson did agree to a 10-day deal with the Nets, one that would have become official had he cleared waivers, but there was just one problem: He didn't clear waivers. 76ers general manager Sam Hinkie swooped in and scooped the Nets.
The Sixers didn’t necessarily need to hit the cap floor. There’s no actual penalty for falling below it other than being required to distribute the difference evenly among the current team. At the beginning of the year, that would have meant about $1 million per player. But Philadelphia has been taking on money all year, and with the acquisition of Robinson, the Sixers' players now don't get any of that leftover cash. Hinkie is just ruining everyone's fun, isn't he? Though, from his perspective, he gets another player on the team.
At least we know Robinson's time as a Net will be almost as historic as Rasheed Wallace's legacy with the Atlanta Hawks. Yes, almost.
