Oscar Robertson: Carmelo should leave Knicks for Houston

Former NBA star Oscar Robertson thinks Carmelo Anthony should leave the Knicks for the Houston Rockets.

The championship-hungry Anthony, who plans to become a free agent in July, has said he'd like to re-sign with New York. 

Outspoken Hall of Famer Robertson, 75, had this to say about the Knicks star on a radio broadcast on Thursday, as reported by ESPN New York: 

Robertson thinks Anthony would have a greater chance at that elusive NBA title if the All-Star packed up his headband and headed west to the Rockets: 

Robertson knows a thing or two about the benefit of switching teams: The 12-time NBA All Star spent 10 seasons with the Cincinnati Royals before winning his first (and only) title in his first year with the Milwaukee Bucks.
