One-way to stop CP3? Just kick him in the face

UPDATE: The NBA has suspended Grizzlies guard Tony Allen one game without pay for kicking Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul in the face.

Yeah, we think it’s flagrant, too.

The NBA calls it a Flagrant Foul 2 when you do something excessive -- and kicking an opponent in the face while he drives to the basket is pretty darn excessive.

The Memphis Grizzlies' Tony Allen kicked the Los Angeles Clippers' Chris Paul smack in the kisser on Monday night. That earned Allen an ejection, which he complained about. C'mon, man, if you going to do something like this, at least own it:

Paul seemed fine after being victimized by Allen'¿¿s showgirl routine. By the third quarter, he had posted double figures in points and assists.
