The Sacramento Kings played their final home game of the season on Monday night, and former Michigan star Nik Stauskas almost went a complete season without falling victim to rookie hazing. The key word there is almost.

Stauskas returned to his condo to find that DeMarcus Cousins, Rudy Gay and Reggie Evans had scattered popcorn throughout his entire place. They put popcorn in his freezer, shoes, bed — everything.

“This is, like, horrible,” Stauskas said in a video that ran on the Kings official website. “How am I gonna clean this?”

Here’s more video of the rookie’s reaction.

The go-to move with rookie hazing (especially popcorn pranks) is to fill a person’s car with popcorn. The problem is Stauskas doesn’t own a car, so his teammates had to get creative.

Stauskas is definitely going to have to hire a cleaning crew to get rid of that buttery goodness, but kudos to him for taking it in stride. If you remember, a popcorn April Fools' prank did not go over as well on Kenyon Martin several years back. Stauskas knew this was coming.
