Inglis has intriguing upside and the potential to be a force of nature in the NBA D-League.
Inglis was selected at No. 31 overall in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks. He played two years in Milwaukee and received a combined 20 games of court time.
Foot and ankle injuries took his 2014-15 season from him, but he performed well for the Westchester Knicks in 2015-16.
Inglis finished the 2015-16 season with averages of 9.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.4 steals, and 0.9 3-point field goals made in 21.4 minutes per game. He did so on a slash line of .444/.364/.636.
A sharpshooting forward with positional versatility, Inglis could be an invaluable addition.
Standing at 6’8.5″ with a 7’3″ wingspan, Inglis has the physical gifts to play both forward positions in the NBA. He has plus athleticism, a high release point, and a strong build.
Carmelo Anthony, Mindaugas Kuzminskas, Lance Thomas appear to have the small forward position handled, but Inglis is an intriguing upside player to have under contract.
Phil Jackson continues to build for the future.
