NBA Development League unveils schedule

The NBA Development League will tip off its 13th season of play with seven games on Nov. 22.
The D-League announced its schedule on Thursday. The first day of play includes the Maine Red Claws against the Springfield Armor and the Erie Bayhawks hosting the Canton Charge. The 17-team league has 14 teams with single affiliations with NBA parent teams. That's the highest number in the league history.
The Delaware 87ers will make their debut this season. They are owned and operated by the Philadelphia 76ers.
Other games played on opening night include the Reno Bighorns at Sioux Falls Skyforce, Iowa Energy at Tulsa 66ers and Fort Wayne Mad Ants at the Texas Legends. The Bakersfield Jam visit the Idaho Stampede and the Santa Cruz Warriors host the Austin Toros.
The season runs through April 5.
