Magic: 'Couldn't be happier' that D'Antoni no longer Lakers coach

There was no shortage of responses on Twitter when news broke Wednesday that Mike D'Antoni had stepped down as coach of the Los Angeles Lakers.

But the response of one prominent Laker -- none other than Magic Johnson himself -- stood out among the crowd.

Johnson has been critical of the Lakers' decision to bring on D'Antoni since he was hired in November 2012, and has taken his share of digs at D'Antoni this season en route to the team's worst finish in franchise history.

Shortly after the Lakers announced D'Antoni's resignation, Johnson went to the Twittersphere to make sure everyone knew where he stood on the news.

As his tweet shows, Johnson was positively joyful at the news of D'Antoni's exit.

Tell us how you really feel, Magic.

Meanwhile, here are some of the other reactions to the news out of LA.
