LeBron isn't the only philanthropist in the James household.

His wife, Savannah James, is also very active in the community, and recently shared her generosity by providing prom attire for nearly 50 high school students in the Akron area.

James hosted 46 students from Akron's eight high schools for "Savannah's I PROMise Makeover" last week. The event, organized by the LeBron James Family Foundation, allowed the students to spend the day getting pampered while they pick out a free prom dress.

In addition to the dress, the girls each received a $50 gift card to DSW to pick out shoes and were also treated to brunch, deejay and limousine services, a purse filled with makeup and a pair of Beats by Dre headphones.

James, who started the annual "I PROMise Makeover" event four years ago, was on-hand to help the girls pick out dresses. She attended her senior prom in 2004 with her high school sweetheart, LeBron.
