With just a couple weeks left in the regular season, LeBron James has racked up yet another honor, the KIA NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Month in March. This is his second consecutive Player of the Month award. While leading the Cavaliers to an Eastern Conference-best 11-4 record in March, James averaged 24.7 points (first in East in March), 6.3 rebounds, 7.3 assists (fourth), and 1.7 steals (sixth), all while shooting 48.2 percent from the field and 40.5 percent from beyond the arc.

The wine and gold had a plus/minus of +123 when James was on the court (highest mark in the Eastern Conference). He was also the only player to shoot at least 48 percent from the floor while averaging at least 24 points, six rebounds, and seven assists. During the 15 games, James also recorded four double-doubles and scored in double-digits in each of the games. That continued his streak of scoring in double-digits to 637 consecutive games, which is the third-longest streak in NBA history. James led the Cavs in scoring eight times, rebounds three times, assists 10 times, steals seven times, and in blocks four times during March.

Also in March, James passed Ray Allen for 21st on the NBA’s all-time scoring list on March 3rd. The 6-8, do-everything player for the Cavaliers, has now won the Eastern Conference Player of the Month for an NBA record 29th time. It is the 17th time a Cavaliers player has collected the honor.
