Kobe hits milestone in Achilles rehab

The new Instagram video feature seems to already be a hit with athletes.

A day after Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson backflipped into a pool, Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant used the tool to showcase his progress recovering from a torn Achilles.

The video was taken June 1 but not posted until today:

Instagram implemented the new video feature Thursday.

This isn't the first time Bryant has taken to social media to keep us updated on his injury. He posted a graphic photo after his surgery in May.

Bryant suffered the injury in an April 12 game against the Golden State Warriors.
