With Tuesday's lottery quickly approaching, the anticipation rises for the Knicks. In case you're unfamiliar with how the lottery process works, here's what New York is up against:
• New York finished the year with a 17-65 record, second worst in the NBA behind the Minnesota Timberwolves (16-66).
• That gives the Knicks 199 of the 1,000 ping pong balls in the lottery.

• In case you're not good at math, that means the Knicks have a 19.9 percent chance to win the first overall pick.
• They cannot select outside the top-five of the draft.
There you have it. You're not a lottery expert. Enjoy Tuesday night.
