Knicks F Chandler held out against Hawks

Published Jan. 28, 2011 6:26 p.m. ET

Forward Wilson Chandler has a sore left calf and is not in uniform for the New York Knicks against the Atlanta Hawks.

The Knicks said before Friday night's game Chandler is listed as day to day. He has had ongoing problems with the injury.

Coach Mike D'Antoni says Shawne Williams is replacing Chandler in the Knicks' starting lineup.

Chandler is one of the Knicks' leading scorers with 16.8 points per game, but he has had uneven production lately. The third-year forward from DePaul had 25 points against Washington on Monday but has scored no more than seven points in his other three most recent games.
