Kevin Love leaves Game 4 with shoulder injury

Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love suffered what appeared to be a serious shoulder injury Sunday at TD Garden.
Love was battling Boston Celtics center Kelly Olynyk for a rebound when Olynyk clamped down on Love’s left arm. Olynyk was called for a foul on the play, and Love immediately ran off the court and down the tunnel to the locker room, holding his left shoulder. You can see a video of the play here.
ESPN’s Heather Cox later reported that Love would not return to the game. A separate report indicated that he avoided a dislocated shoulder.
Love averaged 18.3 points and 9.0 rebounds through the first three games of the first-round playoff series. Cleveland won all three and can clinch the series with a win Sunday in Game 4.
