Kevin Love (concussion) ruled out for Game 3 of the NBA Finals

Kevin Love won't be medically cleared in time to play in Game 3 of the NBA Finals, the team announced Wednesday. The Cavaliers trail the Warriors 2-0 with the series shifting to Cleveland Wednesday night.

Love took an inadvertent elbow to the head from Harrison Barnes in Game 2, and the NBA announced that he had entered the league's concussion protocol, which requires several steps a player must go through before he can be cleared to return to action.
Somewhat predictably, Love wasn't pleased after receiving the news.
Love finished with 17 points and 13 rebounds in the Cavaliers' Game 1 loss, but was limited to just five points and three boards on 2-of-7 shooting in Sunday's Game 2, which the Warriors won by 33 points.
