Kevin Garnett won't be competing against his NBA peers anymore, he'll be analyzing them.

The Big Ticket announced he's joining TNT's broadcast team, and while he won't sit with Charles, Kenny, Shaq and EJ on the "Inside the NBA" set — he'll work in his "own space" —€” you can be sure he'll trade trash talk with them.

He started Thursday night, after announcing his arrival.

"I have opinions on this game," Garnett said in a promo. "It comes from years on the court —€” 21, to be exact. I can break down situations, teams and players. I can spot weaknesses, and I recognize strengths, so am I the media now? The next talking head? Nah, I'm KG, and I'm coming to TNT."

Fans had speculated that Kobe Bryant might rejoin Shaq on TNT, but KG has beaten him to the punch.

"Garnett will be joined by special guests from the worlds of entertainment and sports and give fans a colorful look at the game from his unique perspective," Turner announced Friday in a press release.

Hopefully that includes Honey Nut Cheerios references and possibly some unprintable stuff from KG.
