The Golden State Warriors are all about shooting 3s in bunches, the perfect example of the analytically favored new-school approach. And Kevin Durant is expected to make the Warriors even more lethal from beyond the arc.
But that doesn’t mean the 6-foot-9 sharpshooter can’t take it inside, too. The newest Warrior showed off his post-up game to score his first bucket for the defending two-time Western Conference champs in Tuesday's season opener against the Spurs.
With Tony Parker defending him after a switch, Durant backed down the smaller defender and knocked down the pretty fade-away from the free-throw line.

Might not be the most analytically acceptable shot, but it was still pretty.
