Karl-Anthony Towns played Call of Duty with Michael Phelps and Marshawn Lynch

The Minnesota Timberwolves love Call of Duty. Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins once helped Treyarch unveil a new map pack. And then Andrew Wiggins said he plays COD instead of NBA 2k. On Friday, Towns was yet again involved in Call of Duty related things, as he played the game with Michael Phelps and Marshawn Lynch.

I can’t wait for the video from this session. Lynch has one of the best video game playing

Trying to pick the best player seems easy. Lynch stunk in his Mortal Kombat play as he just mashed buttons. Phelps could be ok, but with a newborn child and the Olympics taking up his time recently it feels likely he is rusty. Towns on the other hand is both young, in the offseason and a COD veteran. It feels like a certainty that he dominated the other two.

Call of Duty Infinite Warfare releases on November 4, so expect to see plenty of these three in the coming months. This session seems meant for an ad campaign, so that should be fun. No matter what it feels likely that Andrew Wiggins was jealous of his Wolves teammate.
