How would Frank Kaminsky fit with the Hornets?

There are going to be quite a few quality prospects available by the time the Charlotte Hornets are on the clock with the ninth pick in the NBA Draft. They could grab a point guard like Jerian Grant or Cameron Payne, opt for a wing like Stanley Johnson or Kelly Oubre, Jr., or they could go big and take Frank Kaminsky from Wisconsin. But would Kaminsky really fit with the Hornets? Tucker Warner of At The Hive has his doubts:

"The Hornets could desperately use the spacing that Kaminsky would provide, and he'd bolster their frontcourt rotation with an offensively-minded player who could help out his teammates with ball movement. ...but they could probably find someone who has the potential to offer a lot more with the ninth overall pick."

Warner hits on an important point: while Kaminsky does indeed space the floor with his shooting, he's much more than a shooter. He's got advanced handles, good footwork, and the ability to move the ball. All that being said, with Cody Zeller and Noah Vonleh on the roster, Kaminsky would create a bit of a logjam when it comes to talented, versatile forwards. The Hornets may be better off adding some much-needed wing depth or a back-up point guard.
