Heat's Green still out after being hospitalized

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra offered no new information Friday on Gerald Green's status after the Heat guard was hospitalized Wednesday morning.

Miami has limited the details released about Green. He did not play in Miami's home loss to Atlanta on Tuesday night, sitting out with what Miami described as an illness. Miami police and fire were called to Green's condo early Wednesday after a 911 call described Green as bleeding and passed out in front of his condo building.

Spoelstra said that ''obviously, there's some things we've had to deal with in-house,'' prior to a game against the Indiana Pacers. He added that the Heat are doing their best to remain focused on basketball while monitoring Green.

''It's what you learn in this league,'' he said. ''Veterans learn this over time, but successful teams learn how to compartmentalize.''
