Maybe Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside is right: No one knew how long the 7-footer really is.
Whiteside put that doubt to rest by posting a photo of him standing on his tiptoes and grabbing the rim. Yes, it's as unbelievable as it sounds:
No wonder opponents shot just 46.5 percent at the rim against him, via NBA.com/Stats. Whiteside's averages of 10 rebounds and 2.6 blocks make a little more sense now. The question heading into the 2015-16 is if Whiteside can keep it up, but how could he not dominate with that size and length?
