The Memphis Grizzlies have taken South Florida guard Dominique Jones with the 25th pick, their second selection in the first round of the NBA Draft.
The 6-foot-5, 216-pound Jones left college after his junior year. He was a first-team All-Big East selection.
Memphis took Kansas guard/forward Xavier Henry with the 12th pick of the first round. The team also has the 28th pick.
The young, athletic Grizzlies are trying to build off a season in which they went 40-42, falling short of their first .500 season since 2006 and posting the second best improvement in wins behind Oklahoma City.
