Frank Kaminsky 'rusty' in first practice

In addition to his sweet shooting, Frank Kaminsky was also known for his non-stop motor at the University of Wisconsin. However, in his first practice with the Charlotte Hornets, he was told that his energy wasn't enough. Here's Rick Bonnell of the Courier Tribune with more:
"'(Ewing) said I’ve got to bring more energy,' Kaminsky said of what Ewing told him following Kaminsky’s first NBA practice.
'I know he’s going to be on me. They expect a lot from me. I was the ninth overall pick in the draft, so there are a lot of things I need to live up to. They expect the best out of me every practice and I have to bring it.'"
Ewing also said Kaminsky was "rusty" in his first practice, but that's to be expected from someone who hasn't play real team basketball in a few months. There's nothing to worry about here, it's just the all-too-normal growing pains of any rookie adjusting to the NBA.
