Ex-NBA player arrested for 3rd time in 2 months

Former UConn basketball star and NBA player Jeff Adrien is reportedly in trouble with the law once again.
Adrien, who has been arrested three times now in a two-month span, was pulled over by Brooklyn police officers for what was just a routine traffic violation, according to a TMZ report. But things took a turn for the worse, via TMZ:
30-year-old Adrien -- who was a stud at UConn and played 5 seasons in the NBA -- was busted in Brooklyn on January 13th after cops say they tried to stop him for a routine traffic violation but he refused to comply.
What ensued was madness ... according to cops, Adrien lost his cool and pushed the arresting officers.
The New York Post just recently reported that Adrien was arrested at the Trump Soho in Manhattan for a physical altercation he got into with a security guard at the hotel. Back in December, Adrien was arrested for stealing a Mercedes from a valet and taking it on a six-hour joy ride.
Adrien was a star at UConn, a major part of a No. 1 seed in 2009 that included eventual NBA lottery picks like Hasheem Thabeet and Kemba Walker. He ended up churning out a short NBA career, bouncing around between the Bucks, Warriors, Rockets, Bobcats and Timberwolves.
