Equipment manager Blake Griffin punched not traveling with Clippers

The Clippers are awaiting the return of Blake Griffin, whose hand is still swollen after getting into a physical altercation with team equipment staffer Matias Testi outside of a Toronto restaurant Jan. 23. Apparently, they may be waiting on the return of Testi, as well.

The Clippers have left for a four-game road trip that begins in Orlando on Friday. They then head to Miami, Philadelphia and Boston before coming back to Los Angeles to welcome in the Spurs.

The initial timetable on Griffin's return was four to six weeks, though it's possible it could end up being longer than that.

It's still unclear what Testi's absence from the team's road trip would mean in the long run.
