Before he signed his $47 million deal with the Chicago Bulls, there were reports that Dwyane Wade was thinking about taking a pay cut to reunite with former Heat teammate LeBron James on the Cleveland Cavaliers and increase his chances at another championship ring.
While that idea was quickly dismissed in favor of more lucrative options, the 34-year-old Wade confirmed to Slam Online's Leo Sepkowitz that he did, in fact, consider moving to the Land during his free agency before ultimately deciding that it wasn't a good fit:
After spending 13 seasons in Miami, Wade joined the Bulls on a two-year contract in July. He'll connect with James when the Bulls take on the Cavaliers on Dec. 2.
