Durant thanks Brooks, yet supports Thunder's decision '100 percent'

Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant said he "grew both as a man and a ball player" under Scott Brooks' guidance, and will "forever be grateful" to his NBA coach of seven years.
But the Thunder player also said he supported the team's decision to move on without Brooks "100 percent."
Brooks was fired as head coach on Wednesday after the Thunder, who he led to three conference finals in four years, could not overcome its players' many injuries to make the NBA playoffs this year.

NBA MVP Durant, who had his season cut short with a foot injury, penned this simple message both honoring Brooks' legacy and looking forward to OKC's future, on his Instagram account:
