Durant gives target return date, heaps praise on Westbrook

Kevin Durant might not be able to help the Thunder secure the eighth and final spot in the Western Conference playoffs Wednesday against the Timberwolves, but he offered his support on Twitter by doing a Q&A with fans.
K.D. touched on a variety of subjects, but the one that should give Oklahoma City fan's the most hope? He gave one fan a target date for his return to the basketball court after rehab from his foot surgery.

This is good news for the Thunder, as an Aug. 1 return would give the reigning MVP three months to get back into peak form before the regular season begins at the end of October.
Durant, in typical humble form, also had nothing but praise for his teammate Russell Westbrook, who has posted otherworldly numbers in his pursuit to push Oklahoma City to the playoffs.

He has never been shy to support his running mate in the past, but the glowing review here reaffirms the solid bond that the Thunder have shown throughout their careers.
