Draymond Green burns Charles Barkley for criticizing the Warriors

Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors won their 73rd game of the season on Wednesday night, breaking a record that was previously held by Michael Jordan's 1995-96 Chicago Bulls.

Naturally, the win sparked debate over which is the best team the NBA has ever seen.

As is typically the case for whatever sad reason, some retired players (like Charles Barkley) have spent most of the season denigrating Golden State's accomplishments instead of celebrating them at every turn -- which is what they should do.

Somehow, Golden State's success is tainted because they shoot (and make) jumpers and have not been able to invent a time machine, go back to the 1960s and slaughter Wilt Chamberlain in his prime:

Being the brash, opinionated person he is, Green responded to his team's haters as quickly as he could after last night's historic victory:

A top-notch Defensive Player of the Year candidate who can shoot threes, go coast-to-coast and create offense off the dribble, Green is an invaluable member of this Warriors team, a squad that pulled off something most thought was borderline impossible before the season started. He can say whatever he wants.

Are the Warriors the best team in history? It's a completely fair statement to make. Of course, that doesn't mean it's true, or that this argument will ever lead to every basketball fan in the world arriving at the same conclusion. And that's why sports are great! We'll never know if Steph Curry and Draymond could take down Jordan and Scottie Pippen in a seven-game series, and that's very awesome.

All we have are facts; here's one Green will surely let people know more and more as the playoffs roll along: The Warriors already have one championship ring. Barkley has zero. But, of course, he already knows that.
