Devin Booker snubbed, left off roster for Rising Stars Challenge

The Suns have the youngest player in the league in Devin Booker, and especially recently, he's been lighting it up. But thanks to last year's format change in All-Star weekend's rookie-sophomore game, Booker was excluded from this year's squad.

The rosters were announced for the Rising Stars Challenge, and since it's now a battle between teams made up of either players from the United States or those around the world, Booker didn't quite make the cut for the U.S.'s 10-man roster.

Only three rookies made the U.S. team roster (with the rest being sophomores), and it's hard to argue for Booker over Karl-Anthony Towns, Jahlil Okafor or D'Angelo Russell, despite his rookie-class leading 42.4 percent shooting from three-point distance.

The complete rosters for the game, which will be played on Friday, Feb. 12 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, are listed below.
