Clippers assign forward Branden Dawson to D-League

LOS ANGELES (AP) The Clippers have assigned forward Branden Dawson to the Grand Rapids Drive of the NBA D-League.

It's the second minor league assignment for Dawson. He averaged 6.3 points and 3.8 rebounds in six games for Bakersfield.

The team made the move Friday.
