Cleveland Cavaliers set another NBA record for 3-pointers against Atlanta Hawks

The Cleveland Cavaliers set another record for 3-pointers against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night.

The Cavs made 25 in a 135-130 win, matching the NBA record they set last year against the Hawks in the playoffs, and setting a new NBA record for the regular season.

Last year the Cavs did it in Cleveland, and Friday night they shot out the lights in Atlanta, with six Cavs hitting three or more triples. Richard Jefferson set a team record with this trey:

"It was great to be a part of a record-setting night, and it's even better that Kyle was the one to hit the record back in the building that he played so many seasons in," LeBron James told reporters.

Cleveland made 25 of 46 threes to break a record that stood less than three months. Houston made 24 treys in a 122-100 win over New Orleans on Dec. 16. Kyrie Irving scored 43 points, James had 38. And they didn't even have Kevin Love.
