Cavs guard Dellavedova set for Game 4 after hospitalization
INDEPENDENCE, Ohio (AP) Cavaliers guard Matthew Dellavedova says he's recovered after being hospitalized for dehydration and will not have his minutes restricted in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
Dellavedova has been stretching, adding fluids, eating properly and getting massages since being admitted to Cleveland Clinic following Game 3. Dellavedova scored 20 points in 38 minutes and played to exhaustion in Cleveland's win over Golden State on Tuesday night.
Dellavedova says he's not concerned about having any cramping issues Thursday night. He said he will cut out his pregame routine of having a cup of black coffee.
LeBron James said he cramped up following a dunk in the second half in Game 3.
Dellavedova, an undrafted guard from Australia, has emerged as a postseason star for the Cavaliers, who lost All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving with a broken left kneecap in Game 1.
