Cavaliers unveil new home court design that features championship trophies
The Cavaliers announced a new home court design before the season began, but the majority of the fans in Cleveland weren't pleased with the changes that were made.
The main thing that fans took issue with was the removal of the Cleveland skyline graphic than ran along near sideline. A little over a week into the regular season, Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert announced that the skyline would return to the court, along with two very significant graphics.
As Gilbert mentioned, the championship trophy graphics you see in the picture won't actually be there until a later date. But it's a great way to celebrate the season as defending champions, and it's an option we'd like to see more title teams consider in the future.
