Bojan Bogdanovic hurts ankle playing in Eurobasket

Bojan Bogdanovic is going to be that much more important for the Nets next season. They better hope he rests up.
Bogdanovic is spending the summer playing in Eurobasket for his native Bosnia and Herzegovina and unfortunately, suffered an ankle injury while doing so. He does say, though, that he'll be fine:
Bogdanovic had 21 points in his previous Eurobasket game and could be the Nets' most important wing by the end of next season, depending on the output the team gets from Joe Johnson—if Johnson even remains on the roster.
His numbers are a rookie weren't particularly inspiring, but he did make Second-Team All-Rookie after a fabulous final 22 games, over which he shot 52 percent from the field and 45 percent from three while averaging 12.0 points per game.
We've seen organizations pull players out of Eurobasket in the past. Heck, the Pelicans just did that with Alexis Ajinca on Thursday. There's still no word on what Bogdanovic's status within the tournament will be, though.

Thank you all for your support. My ankle is swollen, but I'm receiving treatment and it should be ok in a couple of days. #GoStrong
