Washington Wizards backup center Hilton Armstrong has been suspended for one game by the NBA for shoving Joel Anthony while the Miami Heat player tried to make a layup.

The league says Armstrong will serve the suspension Wednesday night, when Washington plays at the Toronto Raptors.

He was called for a flagrant foul and ejected in the final minute of the third quarter of Washington's 105-94 loss at Miami on Monday. Armstrong used both hands to push Anthony.
