Barnes has one year left on his rookie deal, and is eligible for an extension.

"Now that the Golden State Warriors have moved on from David Lee, it appears their next main objective this offseason is to lock on Harrison Barnes to a long-term extension. Barnes’ extension would not kick in until the 2016-17 season when the salary cap is expected to be about $90 million.

Barnes, 23, will become a restricted free agent after next season. He is still on his rookie salary and is set to make just under $4 million this season."
