Philadelphia 76ers forward Andre Iguodala missed Sunday night's game against the San Antonio Spurs because of left patella tendinitis.
Iguodala, who is averaging 12.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.6 assists, went through warm-ups prior to the game but was too sore to play. It's the first game this season that Iguodala has missed. Jodie Meeks started in his place.
San Antonio is also playing short-handed with Tim Duncan getting the night off. With the Spurs playing three games in three nights, coach Gregg Popovich chose to rest his 35-year-old forward. Matt Bonner started in place of Duncan, who missed his second game this season.
Spurs guard Gary Neal (sprained left foot) and forward Tiago Splitter (back spasms) also sat out.
