Young Cubs make jokes at expense of teammate David Ross' age
Chicago Cubs backup catcher David Ross got a harsh reality check about being the "old guy" on a team full of young players.
It all started with a simple tweet with Ross wishing his wife of 11 years a happy anniversary.
While the tweet was innocent enough, Ross' Cubs teammates took a chance to rib the 38-year-old.
I didn't even have my license when you two got married...and it was definitely not the hair bro. Congrats! https://t.co/CrgRC4vH8V— Anthony Rizzo (@ARizzo44) February 2, 2016
While Ross got the full brunt of a "Bryzzo" joke, the veteran surely has a trick or two up his sleeve to get back at his younger counterparts with the average age of the Cubs' roster being about 11 years younger than him at 27.
