Yankees' prospect swings at pitch so hard he lands on his rear

New York Yankees 20-year-old shortstop/second base prospect Gleyber Torres came to the plate on Sunday against the Pirates' Nick Kingham and totally got his money's worth in his first at-bat.

Here's Torres swinging himself right onto the dirt, followed by manager Joe Girardi's perplexed reaction:



 

At least he caught a piece of it. Torres ending up grounding out to third but did notch a triple in the fifth inning. He's also taking the goof in stride:
