World Series chat: Chris Kluwe returns

Published Oct. 28, 2013 1:00 a.m. ET

Punter and Twitter star Chris Kluwe was back to chat during Monday's Game 5 of the World Series. Once again, it was a fun one. The highlight? Thinking about Tim Tebow playing Major League Baseball:

Didn't Tebow make some good throws when he had that magical run with the Broncos? I'm not a Tebow fan, but sheesh, he should get a shot.

Chris Kluwe:

He made some good ones, yes, but he also made some really horrendous ones, and I don't think he'll ever have the motion to be a legitimate NFL quarterback. I think he'd be a hell of a fullback though.

Why are we talking about Tim Tebow during the World Series?

Chris Kluwe:

Why not? It's a 1-1 game. Seattle's not doing anything on MNF. Bring out the Tebow!

Chris Kluwe:

How befuddled would people look if Tebow suddenly trotted out of the bullpen?

Because we are all wondering how his throwing motion would work in the 7th inning in a high pressure situation :)

I like how my Tebow question led to the line of the night!

Whichever team pulled Tebow out of the bullpen would win because the opposing team would be so befuddled they'd end up forfeiting.

There you have it! Recap the rest of the chat below, and be sure to check out the replays of Kluwe's chats from Game 1 and Game 2 (which also featured Diamondbacks pitcher Brandon McCarthy) as well as Game 1, Game 2, Game 3, and Game 4 of the ALCS.

Chris Kluwe grew up in Southern California among a colony of wild chinchilllas and didn’t learn to communicate outside of barking and howling until he was 14 years old. He has played football in the NFL, once wrestled a bear for a pot of gold and lies occasionally. He is also the eternal disappointment of his mother, who just can’t understand why he hasn’t cured cancer yet? Do you wonder why these bio things are in the third person? I have no idea. Please tell me if you figure it out.
