Watch: Tigers player appears to injure himself while celebrating walk-off win over Twins

The Detroit Tigers beat the Minnesota Twins in a walk-off thriller Tuesday night, thanks to a bloop single by Ian Kinsler.

And in typical walk-off fashion, the Tigers celebrated the victory by mobbing Kinsler and Anthony Gose after he crossed home plate.

Tigers' backup utility man Hernan Perez ran out onto the field with a bucket of water to douse Kinsler, but then something strange happened.

Perez can be seen in the video grabbing his hamstring and limping off the field.

There is no word yet on whether or not Perez severely injured himself, or if he simply tweaked something.

Of course it wouldn't be the first time a player injured himself in a walk-off celebration. Perhaps the most infamous celebratory injury occurred back in 2010 when Kendrys Morales broke his leg after hitting a walk-off grand slam for the Angels.
