Watch the legendary Vin Scully call two MLB games at the same time
Vin Scully will call his final games at Dodger Stadium this weekend, though you can’t rule out some bonus coverage after the Hall of Fame broadcaster pulled double duty on Thursday night.
As the Dodgers tried to hold on to a 7-4 lead over the Rockies, Scully was keeping LA fans updated on the Padres-Giants game, with San Francisco’s much-maligned bullpen also trying to preserve a ninth-inning lead. A Giants loss would have moved the Dodgers one step closer to the NL West title, and Scully was gracious enough to provide play-by-play of both contests:
Incredible.
And this guy wants to walk away in 10 days? Scully calls two games simultaneously better than most broadcasters can handle one. It should be a bittersweet weekend in Los Angeles, and it’s already off to a pretty special start for Scully:
Tonight: Mayor Garcetti will give the key to LA to Dodgers legend #VinScully. Thank you for 67 incredible seasons! https://t.co/PWf4aCxw8V pic.twitter.com/aUX44vzzjD
