Watch the Cubs' Albert Almora Jr. absolutely rob the Giants' Brandon Belt

Cubs center field Albert Almora Jr. officially entered the catch of the year sweepstakes Monday night with a tremendous diving grab in center field – robbing the Giants’ Brandon Belt of extra bases in the first inning.

Almora absolutely lays out to make this catch after tracking the ball deep into right-center:

Belt got his revenge later in the game by putting a ball where Almora couldn’t reach it: over the outfield wall in the fifth inning to give the Giants a 5-0 lead. San Francisco held on for a 6-4 win, but Almora held on for one amazing catch.
