Watch: Miguel Cabrera makes history with 400th career home run
Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera hit career home run No. 400 on Saturday, adding yet another impressive accolade to his major-league career.
The home run made Cabrera the all-time leader among Venezuelan-born MLB players, surpassing Andres Galarraga as well as former Tigers great and Hall of Famer Al Kaline.
"I never expect to hit 400 in the big leagues," Cabrera said via MLB.com. "I never expect any numbers at all. I just want to play. I just want to play and win games."
Cabrera is the 53rd player compile 400 home runs and is now tied with Adrian Beltre for 52nd on the all-time MLB home run list.
What's even more amazing is the fact that Miggy reached The 400 Club at only 32 years old.
From Bleacher Report:
There's no doubt Miggy is well on his way to becoming the best power hitter of his generation.
