The Padres broadcast couldn't get enough of this kid eating ice cream

Ice cream isn't typically known as a "ballpark food" - at least not to the extent of hot dogs, peanuts, Cracker Jacks, etc. - but don't try telling that to this young Padres fan. He won't hear any of it with his face buried in a mini helmet sundae.

The youngster, who looks a bit like a mini A.J. Pierzynski, took in Monday's Pads-Brewers game and captured the attention (and hearts) of the broadcast crew with his ice cream love affair in the stands. The guys in the booth could barely keep it together as the kid went to town enthusiastically eating his ice cream.

You've got to hand it to this little dude for attacking the treat with unparalleled passion, even if the execution was a little sloppy. Even as he had melted ice cream running down his arms and face, he refused to be defeated and kept vigorously getting after it. What an inspiration.
