Ask Pirates catcher Francisco Cervelli about the key to his hot start on offense and the answer is a simple, obvious one.
"Swinging at good pitches," Cervelli told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. "That's it. Working deep in the count, doing my thing. I'm not trying to do too much."

It may be an obvious answer, but it's the right one and so far it's been working for Cervelli.
Through 35 games Cervelli, a career .282 hitter, is hitting .308 with a .377 on-base percentage.
