Showalter: 'I can't imagine an All-Star team without Adam on it'

Despite being ranked seventh in the American League among outfielders in the latest All-Star Game voting update, manager Buck Showalter "can't imagine" him not making the team.

“We would like for him to go if he is deserving, and I think he is,” Showalter told the Baltimore Sun. “I can't imagine an All-Star team without Adam on it.”

Jones, a four-time All-Star, is certainly a leader on the Baltimore Orioles, hitting .292 with 10 home runs. He's missed the last 14 games and a four day break during the All-Star game would give him some rest, so he'd have to be fully healthy to deserve a look.
