Ross signs extension with the Braves

Atlanta catcher David Ross has agreed to two-year extension with the Braves through 2012. The deal is worth more than $3 million.

Ross signed a two-year deal worth $3 million with the Braves prior to the 2009 season.

In 78 at-bats this season, Ross is hitting .269 with 18 RBI.
