Report: Yovani Gallardo's physical might hold up deal with Orioles

On Saturday, free-agent pitcher Yovani Gallardo agreed to a three-year, $35 million deal with the Baltimore Orioles.
However, the Orioles have some questions about his physical that at least might delay the deal. Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports broke the news:
The Orioles are notorious for having an especially strict physical requirement for new free-agent signings, something that has played a role in nullifying some agreements in the past.
Regarding Gallardo, it is noteworthy that he has not had any significant injury setbacks since a knee injury in 2008, though there are definite risks involved in giving him a long-term contract at this point in his career.
Sources: Gallardo matter with #Orioles unlikely to be resolved quickly. Team expected to push for restructuring of 3-year, $35M agreement.

Sources: #Orioles concerned with Gallardo’s physical, as @jeffpassan said. Could try to restructure contract or back out entirely.

Question for #Orioles is whether they would give up No. 14 pick for Gallardo if they fear he’s hurt. Fowler also would require loss of pick.
