Published May. 19, 2015 6:11 a.m. ET

According to a report by MLB.com, an MRI on Washington Nationals outfield Jayson Werth revealed that his left wrist is not broken and has not sustained ligament damage.

Werth was injured on Friday in the Nationals' game against the Padres after taking a pitch to his wrist.

It's still uncertain if the outfielder will be placed on the disabled list.

"I'm doing OK, but my wrist is pretty sore," Werth said. "The X-rays were negative, so that's a positive. But we are not out of the woods, so to speak."
